We have a proven track record in the construction of industrial projects for the industrial sector with clients ranging from private developers, manufacturing and service companies and oil related companies and multi-nationals. Our knowledge and experience in this field is extensive and our focus is on the provision of industrial buildings and workshops that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of our clients whilst using suitable construction technology and materials.
Private residential sector of the construction market
Mccue and Porter have established a reputation for considerable expertise in the private residential sector of the construction market. We have over 30 years of experience in the construction of one-off houses for private individuals as well as the construction of multi-million pound residential schemes for private developers and house building companies. We have developed a strong focus on delivering quality in private residential schemes, ensuring that the highest possible construction standards are achieved using modern technology and methods in addition to the required standards of sustainability.
Public funded projects
Mccue & Porter have 30 years of experience in a wide variety of publicly funded projects for a variety of clients and public bodies, including Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Grampian Police, Scottish Enterprise, Aberdeen Foyer and many charitable organisations. Having been engaged on a significant number of projects in this sector, Mccue & Porter have gained considerable knowledge of the internal organisational structure of councils and publicly funded bodies, allowing projects to be carried out efficiently and effectively in response to the needs and demands of each client. The focus of these projects is based on delivering the highest level of quality, energy efficiency and sustainability whilst remaining within the required financial parameters set out by the Client. Mccue & Porter also engages in a high degree of social responsibility, offering a significant level of initial quantity surveying services to charitable organisations in the initial stages of a project, at little or no cost to the client organisation.

For 30 years, we have maintained a significant involvement in all sectors of the construction industry and this has included a vast knowledge of specialist projects across Scotland. These projects have been undertaken for a variety of private and public clients and often contain a high degree of specialist design and technology to meet the specific project criteria, often resulting from the nature of the site or the proposed use of the building. At Mccue and Porter, we play a vital role in specialist projects, where specialist design and technology needs to be carefully assessed in terms of cost in order that these projects remain financially viable.
